Seeking Advice For Your Horse’s Hooves

We’ve all heard the saying “no hoof, no horse”, so it is important to have your horse seen by the farrier regularly.

Good balance promotes the resistance of the hull and the connector is not a well-balanced series of problems that may arise as changes in foot bone, soft tissue damage caused by an unequal burden and stress through the member.

In assessing the balance of the horse’s hooves is important to assess in three ways: lateral (side), front and dorsal view (bottom of foot).

From the standpoint of metacarpal shaft side of the helmet should form a straight line, ie, the wall should follow the same line as the metacarpal bone. In front of the coronary band must be flat and parallel to the ground. Below the central point should be between the widest point and just behind the frog.
